Damas has launched 'Harmony', a new 22kt gold jewellery collection in classic, contemporary Italian designs. The new brand was unveiled in Dubai by actress and former Miss Universe, Lara Dutta.

Speaking at the launch, Lara Dutta said, 'I like Harmony for its elegant Italian craftsmanship and sleek designs. The collection gives the world of 22kt a new face by making tradition look good on you. The timeless designs are perfect for both day and evening wear.'

An actress and model by profession, Lara Dutta was the first Indian representative at the 1997 Miss Intercontinental pageant. She also held a four year contract with cosmetic giant L'oreal after winning a model search contest in India. After winning the Femina Miss India Universe title, she qualified to compete in the 2000 Miss Universe Pageant in Cyprus which she won that year.
