Gitanjali Gems Ltd, launched Gitanjali Exclusive, in Ahmedabad today. Lara Dutta, former Miss India and Brand Ambassador for D’damas, inaugurated the showroom.

The Desire lifestyle store brings the existing and the new range of jewellery brands of the Gitanjali group under one roof. It is the city’s first multi-brand jewellery showroom.

Gitanjali Exclusive will offer a wide range of products from the Desire stable, which encompasses a variety of brands and categories of jewellery. Desire is an attempt to present jewellery as a fashion accessory and includes jewellery such as REVV a stainless steel collection of pendants, earrings, fashion bracelets and duo rings accented with diamonds, a DISNEY range of enameled products in gold or silver, AQUAMARIN - Diamond studded and gold plated/steel watches and Le Papillion, 18kt gold jewellery that can be worn for any occasion.

The store also features men’s jewellery in Titanium. In addition to Desire the store will also showcase the groups other star brands and collections that includes D’damas (with its diamond and gold jewellery brands), Asmi, Nakshatra, Sangini, and Gili.

Manjunath Jyothinagar, President of the Gitanjali Group said that there is a plan to start 2 more luxury lifestyle stores in the state and in all 30 stores across the country by March 2007.
